How COG works.

Everything about the coin, the QR codes, the fees and the ads, in plain words.

Introduction

COG is a meme coin with one job: get as many people as possible to hold it. Most meme coins hope to go viral. COG pays to get seen, using X ads, and it pays for those ads with the fees its own trading creates.

The name says how it works. Like a cog in a machine, each turn drives the next one: ads bring traders, traders create fees, fees buy more ads.

The flywheel

Every part of COG feeds the same loop.

X ads run → new people see COG
people trade → through a QR code, 10% lower fees
fees collected → split 50 / 50
50% airdrop → back to the community
50% reinvest → the next round of X ads
repeat

The more COG is traded, the bigger the ad budget, and the more people see it. Holders are paid along the way through airdrops.

X ads

X is where crypto talks, so that's where COG advertises. The first ads target people already trading crypto. As the budget grows from reinvested fees, the ads widen to reach everyone.

Our first ad is already live and passed 10,000 views in its first five minutes.

QR trading

Each holder can generate a unique QR code tied to their wallet. Trading COG through that code costs 10% less in fees than a standard trade.

  • Generate your code on the QR page.
  • Scan it or open its link to reach the COG trading page.
  • Trade with the discount applied.
  • Share it. Anyone who trades through your code gets the same discount.

QR generation opens with the token launch.

Fees

All fees generated by COG trading go to two places, in equal parts: 50% is airdropped to the community and 50% is reinvested into X ads. The fees page has a calculator that shows the split for any trade size.

Network gas is separate. It goes to the blockchain's validators, not to COG.

Airdrops

Half of every fee comes back to the community as an airdrop. Who qualifies and when each airdrop happens will be posted in updates before the first one goes out.

The explorer

Saying fees pay for ads is easy. Showing it is the point. The explorer lists every ad payment and every airdrop with its date, amount and a link to the receipt or on-chain transaction. It starts empty and fills up as payments are made.

Roadmap

  • Done: first X ad launched, 10,000+ views in five minutes.
  • Next: token launch and official contract address posted here.
  • Then: QR code generation with the 10% fee discount.
  • Then: first fee airdrop and first reinvested ad round, both logged on the explorer.
  • Ongoing: scale ad spend as fees grow.

Safety

The official contract address will be posted on this site first. Check it here before you trade. We will never DM you first, ask for your seed phrase, or ask you to send funds to receive an airdrop.

COG is a meme coin. Meme coins are highly speculative and can lose all their value. Only use money you can afford to lose. Nothing here is financial advice.

Questions

Why X ads instead of influencers?

Ads are paid in the open and come with receipts. That means every payment can go on the explorer for anyone to check.

Does the team keep any of the fees?

No. Fees are split 50% airdrop and 50% ads. Any change would be announced on the fees page before it applies.

How do I get the 10% discount?

Trade through a COG QR code, either your own or one someone shared with you.

Why is the explorer empty?

Because entries are only added when a real payment is made. It fills up from here.
